NRA Rifle Orientation Course Tuition: $125.00 | DEPOSIT OF $25.00 TO BOOK This course is at least 8 hours long. Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting. Students learn to shoot rifles through both classroom and range time. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate. Course contents: NRA’s rules for safe gun handling Rifle parts and operation Ammunition Shooting fundamentals Range rules Shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions Cleaning Continued opportunities for skill development PLEASE NOTE: Certifications are issued by the NRA training department. Therefore you will pay tuition to MMI Tactical for the course and additional certification processing fees payable to the NRA.
